Signed up the other day for a gym that opened up .2 miles from my house. Been meaning to get back into the gym, and what better time than now?
Spending $20.00 a month for gym access, tanning, massage tables, etc.. Can’t beat that price.
Yesterday I went with a friend of mine who also signed up and we worked on chest and biceps. We went hard, and my arms and chest definitely feel it today. We ended the workout with 25 minutes on the elliptical machine.
3 hours later, my brother was getting out of school, so I met him back at the gym for another work out. I attempted to do the same routine as earlier in the morning so he didn’t fall behind, but I could not complete a full set. Clearly the first workout was enough for one day.
So instead, I helped him with the routine and then finished with 3o more minutes on the elliptical machine.
My legs feel good today, a little sore, but that is always a nice feeling. Shows what you are doing is working.
Originally planned on getting out on a hike this morning seeing as the weather is finally nice again, but when I woke up, it took everything I had to push myself out of bed. So instead, I decided to get a major jump start on all my homework and be lazy with Netflix going on in the background.
I do really badly want to get out and do a longer hike here soon. Any of you Facebook friends of mine that are reading this, lets go hiking together!
For those of you who do not live close to me, we can be hiking buddies in spirit.
